Drawing Naruto and Hinata for a contest?
Kels asked:
I’m drawing Naruto and Hinata kissing in a contest and it says whoever you use they are supposed to be wearing Kimonos. I’ve already drawn Hinata but what should I do for Naruto? Should he wear a Kimono or a robe??? If you have any more hints thanks!
Please give pictures

Hello you
In Japan, women, men and children wear kimonos, so you don’t have to worry. I am not an Asian expert, but if I were to draw a guy with a kimono, I’d simply try to make it look simpler than the woman’s (no flowers and cute girly stuff on it). You can get more details on Wikipedia about kimonos, what kind they wear, etc.
Quote from Wikipedia:
“In contrast to women’s kimonos, men’s kimono outfits are far simpler, typically consisting of a maximum of five pieces, not including footwear.”
Good luck

I’m obsessed with Japanese culture, and I’m making manga to publish when I’m older…and things like this are simple to resolve. If you’d look at the kimono, it’s very complex to draw at some times, but also so easy. The robes are the same, and can look similar at times, depending on the style and design. Either way you’d choose it, then it would end up having much of a mix for both styles, ya know?
